Oddly enough, I think I saw evidence that someone did this here recently. And they weren’t a moderator IIRC. Anyways, I have never had a problems not being able to correct my own posts. On the contrary, I think it has taught me to be careful what I say and post.

Sorry Eleusis, for making a spectacle of you and your post . Lest this thread go to waste though, I do still have one question about editing: If you need to edit something, a title, some info in your OP, etc., under what circumstances would it be possible (and prudent) to ask one of the mods to do it for you? I’ve noticed mods rarely edit, typically chosing to close and move threads instead.
I used to have that edit text as my .sig.
