I know Jerry has a million and six things to do, but can we please turn off the caps suppression that makes titles like this look stupid? I’m sure we can count on the vast majority of our members to know not to post in all caps unless it’s truly called for, and for the few who just can’t control themselves, that’s why we have moderators. No big deal, it just annoys me a little bit when I see a title like “Cnn” that should read “CNN.” Thanks!

In this particular instance, though, the issue could easily have been avoided with a more descriptive thread title.
So the poster gets no sympathy from me.
What triggers the caps suppresion? It didn’t happen in the title to this thread, nor to the pit thread, MLK FRIED CHICKEN PARTY - oh wait, so that’s not ok?
Can the suppresion feature be bypassed by including some text in lower case, as in these two thread titles?
If so, is it really a problem? You want to use all caps for emphasis, just don’t go overboard?
Yes. Only posts or titles that contain no lower case (not sure about punctuation and numerals, etc) are converted to Initial Caps.
What, you maybe thought the thread could have been about FOX News, instead?
