no problem. From what I’ve read, myopia is not the same as short sightedness. Myopia is a particular type of short sightedness, caused by a long eyeball, as barbitu8 describes earlier. However, people do not agree as to whether it can be caused by environmental factors. I would argue that it can however, though genes may cause it, or control how bad it gets.
