Can you buy individual packs of salad dressing at grocery stores?

Those little packets of salad dressing that you can buy for your salad in a cafeteria-are they available in packages in a grocery store as well?

I see them at the premade deli salad counters all the time. I’m sure they’d sell you a dozen if you asked.

But I’ve not seen them packaged for retail sale, no.

Somplace like Costco or Sam’s Club might have them since they’re popular with small businesses. Of course you need to pay just to shop there.

My dad has a membership to Sam’s through his company-I’ll ask him if they have them there.

Thanks.

Look up “resteraunt supply” in your local yellow pages. Many of these places will sell retail, and the minimum order isn’t normally huge, as they service catering trucks (AKA roach coaches) and so forth.

Try Minimus.biz - they specialize in small sized items. They have a Dressing section under Food.

I bought individual Hellman’s Creamy Ceasar (I think) at the grocery store, and offered .25 per packet and my offer was accepted. I couldn’t find it in a regular container, and got it with a fast food salad once and really liked the dressing. So if the grocery store has a deli section with pre-made salads, try there.

Our grocery store here in Bumfuck, Wisconsin, sells them in the produce department. I bought some when my parents were coming for lunch (a rare event) and I didn’t feel like investing in a whole bottle of their gross favorite dressings for one salad. I don’t recall how much they were apiece, but I’m sure it was less than a buck.

The Heinens chain of grocery stores in the Cleveland area have in store salad bars with individual packets of salad dressing. I highly recommend them.

I eat supermarket salads all the time for lunch. The dressings are 35 cents at the Safeway I go to.

Look around the salad bar.
