Being high is a personal, subjective, thing. In the late '60s and early '70s, rumors were spread about getting buzzed on peanut skins (not the shells, but the flaky skins on the peanuts,) the soft part of banana skins, and even hot peppers used in a suppository fashion. :eek:! Some folks, because they were expecting to get loopy and because they were using other drugs at the time, swore the rumors were true.
About that time, two friends and I rolled up some catnip cigarettes. We soon found out catnip was ineffective for humans. However, when we picked up another friend and told him we had some killer herb ,(catnip IS an herb, right?) he smoked some catnip. He got inanely, hilariously high on what he thought was something else. The brain is a funny thing.
Have I tried it? Yep. Did it work? Nope.

Tried peanut skins many years ago, with a rather complex bong a friend had made from pilfered high school chemistry lab equipment. Didn’t notice anything. There could have been several other explanations aside from ineffectiveness of the material smoked, though.

Well, my exact recollection is all kind of hazy. However, I don’t think the peanut skins is responsible for that.
I’ve tried it. The only thing it really does is make a mess.

Cisco, “nt” means No Text. It’s often used in titles when replying to threads on boards where the reply titles are shown under the thread text. Not very common in this environment, apparently.

I remember a friend of mine who tried snorting Tang once.
Whenever I happen across a container of Tang, I shake it vigorously, then take the top off and inhale the Tang dust that comes out the top. It’s fun for a little sugar rush. Doesn’t really get you high, though.
