Can you help ID this film (with nearly no clues?)

The film had something to do with an evil older woman (Bette Davis in my minds eye, but probably not) in a large strange house / castle / dungeon, and there are a bunch of men trapped in the house under some circumstances. At one point one of the men is “strapped” to some sort of table with some curving metal talons that wrap around the entire length of his body, and this table drops through a sliding door in the floor…and then later the same man on the same table is somehow conveyed before the nasty woman on some kind of throne, and he complains about almost drowning in cold water(?).

I saw this on TV in the mid-late 70’s, but I would guess it was contemporary to the late 60’s. I don’t remember anything much beyond this bizarre image of a man held down to a table with, essentially, a bunch of giant 3-ring binder clasps.

Valuable prizes to the one that can help me out!

I’m gonna go out on a limb and suggest it’s the 1973 tv-movie I Love a Mystery, based on the old radio show of the same name.

I’m bumping this in the hopes that we’ll see a definite answer. If there’s one thing the denizens of the SDMB are handy for, it’s identifying obscure movies.

Sounds to me it’s almost definitely this movie: Madame Sin.
