Can you help me win an unusual scholarship?

I was recently presented with an offer of admission to a niche executive training program. It seems like a great opportunity but unfortunately the program is rather expensive. The administration has a cool policy whereby they’ll potentially offer a substantial discount on tuition in exchange for a “extraordinary offer” of a task that I would be willing to undertake to help the school.

So this is where you come in: What unusual endeavour do you think I should propose that would have the greatest benefit to a fledgling (rather unorthodox) business school program?

Examples might be

  • organizing talks at local universities to raise awareness of this new program
  • doing something crazy/high-profile to get attention for the school

Any ideas you can propose would be very-much appreciated! Feel free to ask for any clarification you may require. Oh and the only other guidance the school provided was to be “creative and entrepreneurial”.

Off the top of my head, you could offer to create an executive-training program that (a) is rather expensive, but (b) gives discounted-tuition admissions to folks who’ll do all the work of thinking up and performing extraordinary tasks for the school; it’s pure profit!

I’d hand out free porcupines genetically engineered to display an ad for the school on their soft underbellies.
