Can you ID this restaurant?

I had a fabulous dinner in a restaurant about 12 to 15 years ago. Since the restaurant seemed to have been in business a long time, I hope it still is and someone can identify it.

It was in rural Pennsylvania, not close to a one of the larger cities. I was there to consult with a college, so there is a college nearby. I am pretty sure the word “duck” or “goose” was in the name. The restaurant was in an old building–maybe an old inn? It was upscale–great service, pretty pricey.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Could it have been the Black Duck Grille in Dallas, PA? Misericordia University is in Dallas.

Or possibly the Goose Creek Grill in West Chester (West Chester University)?

My mom’s from rural western Pennsylvania, so I might be able to help. Which college was it? Clarion State?

Sorry, jayjay, neither of those are right.

I don’t remember the name of the college, nor am I really sure it was in Pennsylvania. All I really remember was this wonderful food, beautiful atmosphere, and that it was in an old remodeled building. It was quite expensive–several courses, white tablecloth, professional waiter, etc.
