Can you identify this obscure Dallas area restaurant?

OK, here’s what I remember:

I was staying at the Days Inn at 4150 North Central Expressway.

This restaurant was a steakhouse (don’t know if it was local or a chain), and was situated “several” blocks west and “several” blocks south of the motel.

I remember they had great cheese fries, and a really good hamburger steak topped with gollic mashed potatoes.

Any ideas???

Texas Land and Cattle is a chain- there are lots of them in the greater D/FW area. So if you’re in town again, you can probably find them pretty easily.

FWIW, the Saltgrass steakhouse chain out of Houston is better, in my opinion.

Texas Land and Cattle is a state-wide chain. They’re in Austin, too.
