Can you name this early MMORPG game?

It was the late '80s, early '90s. It was designed for kids but filled with adults. You had a pet and the pet fought in arenas and lived in houses you built. But the big deal were the stores you could build and sold – food for you pets, I think. There were mini-games where you earned. . . stuff to get. . . things.

Man, I was a grown woman playing this game for ever but now I can’t even remember the name.

Late 80s? That would pretty much mean CompuServe, Prodigy, GEnie, or possibly a BBS game, any idea which?

Now that I think about it, it wasn’t late '80s at all. My kids were already in school so it had to have been mid to late '90s.

You’re thinking of Neopets, which is still around.

Yes. Yes I am! Thanks.
