Can you report someone's signature?

Oh, it wasn’t Shodan who was bothering me. It was a new user whose signature seemed calculated to piss off as many board members as possible, but now I actually can’t see his signature for some reason. So maybe I did something right? I dunno.

I think I know who you mean. It pisses me off too.

Someone thought that a quote from a British author was the height of American arrogance? That’s fucking brilliant!
So sorry I missed that one. I could’ve used the laughs.

The guy did get warned for using his signature twice in a thread, though not for the content of the signature itself.

Now that I can’t see the signature anymore, I don’t know if the user himself got rid of it, or if I now somehow have the thing turned off where I can actually see signatures. In any case, if I can’t see it, perhaps I shouldn’t be ticked off.

Let’s not stir up that hornet’s nest again, okay?

Yeah, it was a bit before your time. But that was the general consensus in the pitting. It didn’t go well for the OP. But it turned out he was just having a bad day and it set him off. No biggie. We laughed about it later.

Can I report my own signature for spam?

I think I’ll just report this entire thread.

So what’s next? Asking if you can report a User Name?

Not uncommon.

I’m sorry to inform you that your name has been reported for being unnecessarily alliterative, insufficiently clever, and moderately mundane. Please request a name change at once.

Done

If only you knew what the G stood for in my username, you might report it.

(Actually, I can’t think of any particularly bad or controversial words beginning with G.)

I assumed “gonnorhea”. Sorry if that isn’t it. Actually, sorry if it is. I coulda sworn it was. . .

Is it Gnome-Fucker?

Oh no, I’ve been a regular reader (lurker, I guess) since the very beginning. I’m sure there were some gaps, though.

No. Gnome fucker, as my dear Sunday School teacher Mrs. Hanrahan told us over and over again, isn’t hyphenated.

Darn, then I should’ve been EmilyGF.

Seriously, it isn’t “key of”?

Heh. Actually, the G in my username stands for my last name (which isn’t vulgar or off-colour or anything.) Though the key of G is a very nice key.
