Can you see it? There on the horizon BEAGLEDAVE?

Ouch

and so the descent begins

James Allen…you are a fucking bitch.

jar

With all due respect, jarbabyj, I wouldn’t blame Allen. The pass sucked, and the sun was in his eyes. God knows you couldn’t just say, Hey, we got beat by a better team, which is exactly what happened. Of course, if I had to, I’d blame Shoop, for his pathetic play calling.

Heheheheheeehhehe

C’mon. We all know what happened. Papa Bear had to use the facilities, when he was gone Miller went back to pass. Just as he threw, Vince stood up and blew with a huff and a puff and that 4th-down pass that should have been caught for a td and run in, went behind him and he couldn’t handle it. Close but no cigar.

God knows that’s exactly who I’m blaming.

“Hey, it’s 3rd and 10… let’s call for a one-yard screen pass!”

What the frickin’ frack was he thinkin’?

Yeah, god, how could I forget. You guys are like leaps and bounds ahead of us.

Oh wait.

We’re tied.

And you got beaten by the Vikes.

Actually we got the shit kicked out of us by the Vikes, in all honesty. Weird. But we have them on the tundra on 12/30, should be nice and blustery by then. Moss will probably have quit and tried to play basketball, or pissed off his whole team and been benched already.

Jarbabyj, you said you might be going to the game, did you attend?

No.

I wanted to be home where I could see it up close and throw things.

I like to be alone for Bears/Packers because I tend to swear a lot and call players “cunts”

jar

I love it. The Packers are 3 point favorites and win by 8 and what is the response? Yeah, BUT the teams are still “tied” and the Packers lost to the Vikings whereas the Bears beat them. But lost in that sea of justification is the crucial fact . . . THE BEARS LOST. The Packers are a half game in front of the Bears (for practical purposes) because of the tiebreak system used by the NFL. (Yes, the Packers got embarrased by the Vikings in the Metrodome where the Packers always get embarrased by the Vikings. Even in 1996 the Packers lost to the Vikings in the Metrodome.)

No, lost in the shuffle is the fact that I came in here, ate my crow, showed my face, BLAMED MY OWN TEAM for the loss and it still wasn’t good enough for Hamlet.

Look, I know they lost. They lost. OK? I’m heartbroken, OK? what else can I do?

I was just a bit weirded out by jarbaby’s reference to the “decline” of the Bears…they are still the same team…not fantastic, but better than last year (and the year before) by a significant amount.

The Bears were blessed with a “relatively” easy 1st half of the season…I think any decline will come because of the kind of 2nd half they will have (road games against Central opponenets).

The Pack have a “relatively” easier second half (Central opponents at home).

I don’t see the Bucs, Vikings or Lions being a serious threat…and on paper the Pack has an easier shot at the division title than the Bears.

Guess we’ll see for sure in January.

Nothing. I just felt like getting in one last comment. (I probably shouldn’t have but I couldn’t resist.)
