Canada gives up on their military. I wonder who they're depending on now?

If you see high ranking officers here, they appear to be United Church ministers - quiet, soft-spoken, Beta especially cf. U.S. generals. One of our top generals went to Rwanda, saw the carnage and lost his marbles, and never recovered. They say they do not want to fight anymore - they want to be “peacekeepers.” They are now sort of a social organization providing employment and careers for nice ladies and gays, and guys & gals who just need a humble paycheck. I think the u.s. militaries will head down the same road eventually - sad, but true.

As usual, I’m just spitting in the wind here, but it’s amazing how the US gets hammered by Canada on a fairly regular basis and yet now we’re effectively expected to defend them should something happen in order to protect our own country? That’s what it looks like to me, anyway. Canada is just quitting, knowing full well that we’ll be there for them.

Isn’t that the very pinnacle of arrogance? Just a thought.

Hey Airman, our new PM is going to announce an additional 4 billion in funding for the military. More than covering the shortfall that sparked this thread. We’re all cool now, right?
