Cancer, don't win another one! Prayers, please

One of my dearest friends, Margaret, just learned that her husband John, who had apparently come through colon cancer surgery with flying colors (they didn’t even think he needed any further radiation or chemo) a couple of months ago, now has been diagnosed with liver cancer and they’re saying he’s only got a year to live.

I am just so angry. Why do things like this have to happen to good people?

Anyway, your prayers for Margaret and John would be much appreciated and would mean a lot to them. He’s going to start chemo soon, but they may take a nice vacation first – and who can blame them? – so I’m hoping that he can fight this thing off. But it sounds pretty grim right now.

I really, really don’t want cancer to win this one. Any positive stories of cancer survival would be much appreciated by them as well at this point, I’m sure!

Good Thoughts/Positive Vibes/Prayers for Margaret & John

Ditto.

Um you know what cancer just did to me well not to me my mum.

your friend is in my thoughts very much, I am not really religous but you know I think these things really do help.

this may not make a lot of sense but your friends have my thoughts at this time.

Sure thing.

Best wishes to both of them, and fervent hopes for beating the odds.

Sending happy vibes all your ways.

Best of luck.

I had a relative who beat cancer and one of my biggest fears is that she’ll have a relapse. I can definitely emphathize with your situation. My prayers are with your friend.
