The thing I’m really craving right now is those egg things they sell at Easter that have a soft but not gooey inside but a hard candy (NOT CHOCOLATE. They are not Cadbury Cream Eggs…I know the difference) shell on the outside that we used to have all the time when we had Easter Egg hunts in elementary school.

Knowing how difficult it is to launch a successful new product and how many people have to sign off on it, how many dozens of people were asleep at the wheel when Circus Peanuts were ok’ed and sent to production?

We ought to have a poll to see if anyone, anywhere, actually eats those doorstops with any kind of pleasure.

My sister gave me some Starburst candy corn. I was hoping for candy corn-shaped Starbursts, but it was just fruit flavored candy corn, with the same icky texture.

man i LOVE starburst candy corn. the flavor is perfect and i genuinely enjoy the candy corn texture. the only issue is that they are quite a bit ‘wetter’ than regular candy corn and can turn into a candycornclump rather easily.

Halloween is going to be a big deal in my family this year. My DIL is making she, my son, their baby boy and myself Harry Potter character costumes to wear. Good times!

We’ve decided my 6’7" bearded son will be Haggred, my dil has lots of curly brown hair and will be Hermione, my red-haired grandson will be Ron Weasley, and I’m going as PRofessor McGonigal

Brachs has new flavors, at least to me, this year.

Brach’s candy corn is my favorite and it does taste different this year. I don’t like it, and really don’t like the new chocolate peanut butter cup flavor. It tastes so bad my kid won’t even eat it and she’ll eat any thing peanut butter flavored. There is a very strong chemical taste.

I notice not only does this years package of Brach’s regular flavor taste different it looks a little brighter than usual. The colors are more neon.
