I don’t know about the Xerox copiers, or any other copiers, but Cannon Copiers have this indentation on it with a symbol of a paperclip. This indentation couldn’t hold 3 paperclips without one falling out. Why do they have this? If it was meant to hold paperclips, why didn’t they make it deeper? Is it cosmetics? Who are the ad wizards who came up with this one?
If the magnet were any stronger, it might zap floppy disks and other stuff people use around folders full of documents. Its just a temporary spot to hold a few paperclips while you’re shuffling a document across the copier. It isn’t a paperclip warehouse.
Ah, a magnet, pardon my stupidity. I should have tried that first.
