I’ve never encountered this problem. I can log into Hotmail, and am taken to the Highlights page. From there I cannot get into the mail itself. Double clicking does nothing. I am assuming this is a problem with Hotmail and not my computer. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
Delete your temporary internet files. Tools>Internet Options>Delete>Delete for IE9. Close browser, reopen browser, check Hotmail.
I did as instructed above. No change. I have also tried three browsers: Chrome, IE6 (don’t ask), and Firefox.
Are your versions of Chrome and Firefox current?
Yes both are the latest version.
You might have an over-zealous anti-virus program blocking the page. Avira’s Webguard is one such culprit. Try temporarily disabling anti-virus to see if that fixes the problem.
