can't access gmail from Apple

I have not been able to access gmail all day from my apple G4 or my Macbook Pro. Both tell me that I’m having server time-out issues.

My wife, however, was able to login very quickly with her PC, and there were no issues whatsoever.

Is this the April fool’s day virus that’s attacked me, and how do I get rid of it?

or, is there another problem with both of my macs that keep me from accessing my gmail accounts?

update!

It is now working. No idea why, but this thing hasn’t worked all day.

I’ll be back if it happens again.

Mods, feel free to delete this question. I haven’t a clue what’s just happened.

FWIW, I’ve had no trouble with GMail all day and I’m using a MacBook Pro with Firefox.
