Gmail Problem

When I try to access my Gmail account from my desktop computer I get the following error message:

We’re sorry. It seems there is a problem. Please try using Gmail with a supported browser.

If you’re encountering this error while using a supported browser, we suggest alerting
your Internet Service Provider (ISP) that a proxy is failing to accept cookies on HTTP
redirects/

Click here to return to Gmail. You’ll need to sign in to your account again.

In the past, I tried calling ATT but at the time I was using a Beta version of Firefox that they couldn’t handle.

I now have:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6

But ATT was closed until 8 am when I just called.

Can anyone help?

actually having the same trouble here

but I got

It’s been down all over the place for a couple of hours check the status page for updates

hmm seems to work now…yay

But I’m getting my gmails – from you and will the kitten survive?, for example – right now, so that’s not the problem.

And I’m hoping the tips we get here will help other Gmail complainants.

Earlier, the web interface was down/malfunctioning. People receiving their mail via POP or IMAP were unaffected. Some phone widgets seemed to be working also.

Having said that my web interface is now back up and running.

And I’m currently accessing my Gmail without the damned error message—like there is no glitch whatever.

My problem, obviously, is in and out, off and on.
