Can't remember Names of Cartoon Dogs

When I was kid, (60’s, early 70’s) I remember seeing a cartoon with two dogs. One was the Alpha Dog and the other dog was basically the lap dog.

The lap dog would be constantly asking (paraphrasing)

“What do we now” “What do we now”.

Does anybody remember this cartoon and the name of the dogs?

If it was later in the 70’s I would say it was Woofer and Wimper from Clue Club.
