Last night I watched a documentary called “Out of the Clear Blue Sky” which details what was going on with Cantor Fitzgerald and Howard Lutnick after 658 of 900 New York City Cantor Fitzgerald employees were killed in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The filmmaker is the sister of a man killed in the attack.
It shows what Lutnick was up against and the extreme pressure he was under during this time. At one point in the film a screen shot of an SDMB thread was shown. Possibly this one, which is what prompted me to post this.
The film is currently streaming on Netflix and available for streaming as a rental on Amazon.
I don’t know how this guy was able to do anything at all. I’d have crumbled in seconds. He made some mistakes but eventually seemed to get things under control. I hope anyone who participated in the linked thread will give it a watch.
