Capital One Rock/Paper/Scissors, Viking-style

In one of the Capital One commercials, two Vikings play a version of rock/paper/scissors. Let’s ignore that the weapons aren’t authentic Viking weapons. When they shoot, one pulls out a crossbow, the other a morningstar. Crossbow wins. My question to the Teeming Millions is what weapon does morningstar beat but in turn beats crossbow?

Any ideas?

This might be difficult. You’re dealing with both melee and ranged weapons here.

Shield works. Morningstar over shield is like paper over rock, but I can see shield blocks bolt.
