Car Accident.

Head on collision.

Neither I nor the other driver is too badly hurt.

She hydroplaned on a curve, right into my lane.

Both cars totaled.

Damn! I’m glad it was mostly the cars that took the damage. But, damn.

Hope you both spring back quickly and that the insurance works smoothly.

Wow. I’m scared of hydroplaning myself or someone else coming into my lane. Hope you get through all the crap smoothly.

Vastly relieved it wasn’t worse for you Bosda.

Having said that, it’s tough to lose a car.

Damn. I’m glad everyone’s OK.

I’m glad you’re ok.

I’m glad you’re okay, Bosda. That accident yesterday on Broad killed my neighbor’s son.

StG

Hope no BMW’s were involved.

Glad everyone is okay, seriously.

Damn. Sounds scary. You must be pretty shaken up. Glad no one was injured, but don’t be surprised if you’re sore tomorrow. Hope the paperwork goes smoothly and that you get a nice loaner car.

It was the only new car I ever owned.

:frowning:

[del]As they say, any crash you walk away from[/del] … (No, no… try again)

[del]May it be the first new car in the long line of many[/del] … (Still not quite right)

[del]You should see the other guy![/del] … (Damn. Just not my day, is it.)
Glad you’re OK!

And how “not too badly hurt” would that be?

** Czarcasm** --in my case, bruising, scrapes, back & neck pain (no breaks, as per x-rays).
Her case–nose cut & possibly broken nose.

Damn that’s terrifying! I’m so sorry about your beautiful car but really glad you’re mostly unscathed. And I hope to hell there’s a lot of good insurance in the mix …

Well now you get to own another one.

You’re not hurt, and

you get to go shop for a new car.

Those are good things.

Think positively.

I’m very glad only the car was totaled Cars can be replaced. People can’t. Especially people like you.

No offer from my insurance yet.
Of course, the report isn’t ready.

Rental car is here.

Scary junk, glad you’re alright.

Sorry to hear about the accident. One thing to remember is that you don’t have to accept the first offer from the insurance company. If you have reason to believe your car was worth more than average (new tires, fancy radio, above average condition, etc), tell that to the adjuster, and they will be able to offer more money.

(BTW, few things are sadder than the visit to the wrecking yard to take your personal possessions out of the car before it’s recycled.)

Another thing. You may want to hire a personal injury attorney. I know they’re seen as sleazy ambulance chasers, but if you can get more money, that will help when looking to replace the car.

Contacted a lawyer.
Should hear from their office soon.
