Hilarious? Absolutely.
I doubt it. I assume someone just dubbed the song over the video so the audio was clear.
I saw this earlier and almost started a thread. It’s cute. But, it’s also totally staged, on purpose. The department and the officer freely admit it. The officer’s 10-year-old daughter likes the song and plays it a lot at home, which is why the officer knows the lyrics. It’s part of a Dashcam Confessional thing they’re doing to show their officers in a more human light.
That was one of the few things that gets posted to Facebook that actually made me laugh out loud. And yeah, I figured it was staged.
