I am working on a project for a car-part company and I want to include something in the database I’m building that would let users choose a year, then get a list of all makes and models of cars for that year.
I have done some searching and it’s really hard to find anything in non-printed format that would have a listing of this sort of thing. I would need something like the Standard Catalog of American Cars, but on a disc (as far as i know, this catalog does not exist on disc).
Any idea where I could obtain a data source like this, or how I could narrow my search from “car database”?
The Kelley Blue Book site lists every model from the major manufacturers for the past 20 years. For example, click 1981 then Toyota and you’ll see the following:
