It occurs to me that perhaps combining two requests in one message without specifically noting the second request might’ve done me some harm.
In the efforts of trying to FIX that, let me tell you specifically what I am looking for. I am on Atkins. (No grief, please.) I am using “Weight By Date Pro Trial” and it’s almost expired. It’s not exactly what I want, but here’s what it does allow me to do:
• I can count daily carb intake by noting each food with carbs, vitamins,
calories, sodium, etc.
• It will allow me to add new foods that aren’t already on their list and fill in
the information I truly want to track.
• It will give me a daily rundown of my weigh and how far I’ve lost and what I
have to do to reach my goal.
• It has some other things I don’t need, but it does have a work-out counter
(I haven’t used that one yet – dental surgery you know) so you know how
many calories you’ve burned off
• You can set your daily caloric intake to whatever you feel is realistic, and it
will tell you if it’s an unrealistic goal or if you need to adjust.
My problem is that I don’t have $49.95 to shell out on this program for the full proggie.
Does ANYONE know of a freeware/shareware (free) program that does similar things – carbs are most important. I’ve looked, but to no avail, and I know there are those better than I at searching things out on the net.
I put my faith in you, kids.
