Care to share your computer's "wallpaper"?

I have the bluebell woods in Belgium. It takes up about 3/4ths of the screen and the background color is nearly identical to the color of the flowers.

I don’t change my wallpapers often. I find this one so lovely and peaceful that it’ll probably be on my computer for quite a while to come.

My wallpaper is all white with size 12 Arial: “remember to email worksheet” I made it on MS PAINT like 6 months ago.

I never emailed the worksheet.

Thank you! We now have this in common.

Just the default that came with Puppy Linux, and the default that came with Windows 10.

I rarely see it, so I don’t really see the point of changing it. I prefer to just forget it’s there.

It’s not like the titlebars which I see all the time and was livid when Windows 10 took the color away. (Fortunately, they are adding it back in an update, and there’s a workaround until then. [Only a workaround as it still destroys the ability to see at a glance which windows are active])

Mine’s been this for a bit now. Took it myself !

Right now it’s this Grump Cat pic: Grumpy Cat Get off my Lawn 2013 by Keymagination on DeviantArt but I rotate my backgrounds on a monthly to two monthly basis. Sometimes I reuse pix (my pets, some river scenes I took, close-up shots of my gardens) and sometimes I go looking for something new. In the winter I like using summer shots and in summer I use winter shots. Now and then I’ll put up a wallpaper of whichever actor I am currently lusting over… and one time I put up a nude of I forget whom… but I thought it was hilarious because my husband uses my pc when he doesn’t feel like getting out his laptop. So I threw some text on the picture saying “Hi, Mistermage” covering the naughty bits.

At work, currently this APOD picture APOD: 2014 July 20 - A Solar Filament Erupts. I change every few months, with APOD providing about half of my selection pool, but I like this one and it’s been up almost a year.

At home, currently the Win7 Canadian scenes theme.

It used to be my baby Dolly swimming, but then she died and I got two new dogs and they are stackable so I put up a pictured of them stacked.

I use one of the National Geographic photo contest winners. Specifically, this one: The Independence Day.

I have this picture that I took of Kinkaku-ji or the Temple of the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto.

When my castle picture starts getting old I’m coming back here to turn this one into my wallpaper! And I may do the same thing with others that have been posted. It would appear that many of us like the same sort of serene image to offset the other trash we’re presented with online! That said, I can’t resist putting up some craziness from time to time.

How many of us were addicted to the Windows 95 Themes back in the day? I collected dozens of them, especially the ones constructed by a gal in Canada whose name escapes me at the moment. She was very good and our tastes overlapped a lot.

Who knows, I may even use this one: http://staticd.cdn.adblade.com/banners/images/145x109/32681_55d61309822c4.jpg

Mine is pictures of my girlfriend in rotation.

An example.

Mine is a screen shot from the Mad Max video game with some in-game filter/effects added. I thought it looked nifty.

My home PC has this picture that I took last year, which I only ever see when I reboot. Work 'puter, with multiple screens, has about 120 pix in rotation ever 10 mins.

I’ve noticed that on some days, I see the same picture more than once; it seems to only rotate about ½-dozen some days.

I alternate between a picture of Machu Picchu, and a picture of Mount Everest. Both places fascinate me.

Sometimes I like to type cool phrases into Deviant Art’s search. Sometimes I get cool stuff like Steel Flameblade, Nightmares, and my current desktop, Pyromancer Soldier. Sometimes it’s a bust, like when I searched for “Nightmare Child” and got a bunch of My Little Pony fanart.

This is mine:

I love lightning.

Currently, Planet Mercenary wallpaper

I need to find something else for my laptop.

I saw this on a NJ billboard during my vacation earlier this month, spoke to me along a lot of different lines (note I have had close numinous encounters with a number of wild birds over the years):

Julie Miller, “The Arrival”

I still can’t see whatever “it” is. Also, I used to have that couch. Now *that’s *unnerving. I currently have this guy but will change to something Halloween themed in a few days. I change them every month and find that it attracts people to stop by my desk and see what’s new. Of course, I realize not everyone welcomes that.
