career change - buyers agent - need answer fast

Real estate pro’s and divas I need your opinions!arm chair experts welcome!

It’s a real estate job on craigslist, no RE license required now, cold calling buyers leads, work on commission for a local branch of a national company. The sales Agents appear polished and successful, I suspect the position might be finding buyers for repos or foreclosure’s. Plus any other grunt work i guess.

For free.

gulp,… or until something sells. What kind of paycheck can i expect eventually? a couple hundred a month at least? For a hundred hours?

I meet her tomorrow, at this point I’ll agree to anything, what must I need to know to ask?

TIA!

  • As a buyer’s agent, you will probably be showing prospective buyers houses all over town. Will you have to drive your own car? Do you get reimbursed milage or at least for gas? Do you need a certain amount of liability insurance, above and beyond what your state may require?
  • What is the exact formula for compensation?
  • Expected to work 7 days a week?
  • Will you be reimbursed for any courses and tests you take to work towards getting your RE license?
  • What sort of wardrobe will be required, since you will be interacting with clients?

As shitty as the real estate market is currently … you may very well go months without getting paid anything.

I’m assuming you’re female. If you’re not packin’ heat, you need to start. Female relators who show houses alone have been known to come to harm at the hands of people pretending to househunt.

wardrobe worries me, no FMP’s, I wear Merrells and FDJ, needa manicure, and “work”…

exact formula, exactly!

As to assailants, i’ll carry a wrench in my trench

Well that takes all the fun out of it.
