Caribbean camo contraband conundrum

Barbados and several other islands do not want folks wearing camo clothing. I have never heard why, and am having trouble searching for an answer. I own no camo, but I am curious.

Gracias.

From what I can find, it looks like the wearing of camoflaged patterns is reserved for the millitary.

Thanks, Cap. That was my assumption, but I couldn’t find more info.

Definitely, I don’t think they want Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver walking around in camo fatigues looking like your run of the mill Guerrilla.

 I can just see Ward and June as the new ruling junta. Wally could be minister of defense, and the Beav could strut his stuff and hold meetings in a tree house. A palm-tree house.

Please forgive me for briefly thinking it might be because it’s illegal to impersonate parliament or something…
