Is the Carvel ice cream franchise strictly an east coast thing?
No, I remember seeing commercials for it (complete with annoying jingle) in southern California when I was a kid.
No, Carvel has several locations in the Phoenix area. Even the local Albertsons grocery carries Fudgie the Whale cakes.
