Casablanca trivia questions

OK, I’ve watched Casablanca at least 30 times, and there are two bits that I would really like to know:

  1. What is the name of the German song that the Germans are singing, that leads Victor to start up Le Marseillaise to drown them out? I assume it is some Nazi anthem, but maybe just a good old German folk song.

  2. Sam starts to sing a song with the line " 'Cause my hair is curly", and then the scene cuts to something else and you hear a tiny bit more in the background. I know I have heard this before, but I can’t remember the name of the song. It drives me nuts every time.

So, learned ones, please put me out of my misery.

I don’t remember it from the movie, but I recognize the lyric line, and a search of Casablanca soundtrack album listing confirms that the song is Shine, a song which I doubt you would ever hear sung in today’s Politically Correct climate.
