Casey Anthony . Guilty or not ?

Yes misleading the police is a terrible crime.

Agree with you … just grasping at straws.

I also agree with what **Hampshire **wrote above.

You don’t believe she murdered her child?

I don’t know, she could make a bundle of money with a book deal and talk show appearances, then move off somewhere private. The benefit of being a psychopath would be being able to start over somewhere remote with a clear conscience.

How can they not convict of the aggravated child neglect? Your kids is missing for a whole fucking month and you don’t report it? That should have been a dunk as well.

Gonzomax may not fit the following categories. That said, there are a number of people who:

a) think Casey Anthony is completely innocent, and/or

b) have authority issues, and like seeing high-profile defendants get off.

Based on what do people think she is innocent? Honestly, I’ve come across no one who think she is innocent.

This case has definitely taught me one thing from talking to people and reading posts on here. The American public needs a primer on what “reasonable doubt” is. It is not “Can I make up an alternate, convoluted story that fits all of the details?” It is careful reflection to see if the alternative makes sense given the EVIDENCE (not wild accusations) that has been admitted.

I’ve only come across one in real life. That person is an undiagnosed psychopath (inveterate klepto, constant liar), and actually identifies with Casey personally.

Susanann, on this board, is one who I think believes Casey had no role in Caylee’s death. Not sure what gonzo thinks. I think I have detected traces of anti-authority in both of their posts, but I really don’t know for sure.

It’s certainly a minority, but some people really buy the story that the kid drowned and George Anthony forced her to cover it up, being the evil molester that he is.

12 peers just said she was ‘not guilty’ - no longer matters what anyone else ‘thinks’ on the matter.

Really curious as to what swayed the jury overall - they had more evidence here than they did for Scott Peterson - and very similar defendant personalities (liers, cheaters, etc) - and yet Scotts faces death and Casey walks - the dynamic is amazing.

IMHO - Baez did a wonderful job of confusing the jury - and the state bungled the aspect of focusing too much on “how” and not enough on “who” - and that allowed the defense to do its job.

Great posting.

Cheney Mason’s “burden of proof” chart was BS. If that’s actually the way jurors are instructed, how does anyone ever get convicted without full confession, 100 witnesses, videotape, leaving ID and SS card at the scene, etc.?

Wow, ok. Since the beginning I’ve thought there was a chance greater of OJ’s innocence than Casey’s.

If I came across someone who honestly was happy Casey was found not guilty, I think I’d be a little scared of that person.

A big part of it is the simple fact she is a woman.

She wasn’t found innocent, she was found not guilty. There’s a big difference.

Yes.

So Susanann … there was no crime here? No one else going to trial? Covered-up accidental death, no harm, no foul?

Sheesh. I’m anxious to hear what the jurors say. Could they have believed the drowning/cover-up story?

I think** George Anthony** is a very unhappy and a very worried man right now.

Of course he doesn’t.
