Casey: Let's sentence her.

There’s really no doubt that she lied to the cops. So what do you think her sentence should be?

I can see giving her the max because she did put a lot of people through a lot of trouble during the unnecessary search and she cost the state a lot of money. I can also see just turning her loose for time served and just getting the whole mess over and done.

Even if the judge gives her the maximum four years, she will likely get out very soon on parole, having already served nearly three of those years.

I suspect there may be legal and ethical issues if the judge were to state he was giving her the maximum sentence on the lying charges for reasons related to the murder charges since she has been found not guilty on those.

What do you think? Jail her for another year or so, or let’s be done with it?

Reading about how male convicts deal with child molesters, I wonder if she gets at least a year and is put in the general population of a prison, if she might not get a shiv in her throat.

Tar and feather

Sterilization ought to be a part of her sentencing.

What about throwing her little girl’s body in the woods? Whether (it can be proved that) she killed her or not, that can’t be legal, right? Can we sentence her for that too?

We could charge her for littering but since there is no dna she would be accquitted.

Already being discussed here.
