Cast of "Fame" - were they actually in the movie or what??

It’s picayune, but this has bugged me for years. Nay, since the last millenium. I thought perhaps a Doper or two might be able to enlighten me.

Listed on the package for my Fame videotape are two characters who I don’t believe appear in the movie. One is Angelo, played by Eddie Barth; the other is Farrell, played by Jim Moody.

Anybody got an idea who they were? I’ve eliminated the following:

  • Leroy was the dancer who couldn’t read
  • Ralph the Freddie Prinze-inspired comedian
  • Bruno (sigh) the musician who couldn’t hold his violin bow
  • Montgomery the red-haired actor who got a lot better looking when he went bald & became Rocket Romano
  • and Michael the older student who turned down the scholarship & wound up waiting tables (obligatory cautionary tale)

Who were Angelo and Farrell?

Eddie Barth played Bruno’s father. Jim Moody played (as he is in real life) the acting teacher.

Thank you! I assumed they were kids, since the listings were just first names.

I had a hunch that acting teacher was for real, he’s really good.
