Casting the future Narnia movies

With Prince Caspian in pre-production for 2007 and the Pevensie siblings (William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgia Henley) attached, let the talks begin!

My best guesses: Eustace, Jill, and Caspian will all go to unknowns–the winning formula that worked for Lord of the Rings and the first Narnia movie. Liam Neeson, as Aslan, will have a very steady, very large source of income for the next several years.

As for the rest, well…

Most of the main characters of the Narnia books are children, and as such, almost have to go to unknowns. Most kids of the appropriate age haven’t had a chance to get known yet. Which pretty much leaves us with animals, and with the actor providing only the voice, not the physical form, there’s a lot of flexibility there.

If we stick with the timeline of the books, age might get to be a problem, since Edmund & Lucy are only supposed to age a year, while Caspian is supposed to get three years older, (and I inferred, noticeably taller and buffer.)

Doh!! Preview required, insufficient data!

My previous post was about the transition from ‘Prince Caspian’ to ‘Dawn Treader’ of course.
