This morning the cat came at 0800 hours.
Doesn’t the silly cat know about the time change?
It’s hard for him to adjust his watch. No opposable thumbs, after all.
I imagine he’s going by the light, which is the same regardless of our silly timekeeping 
We had a cat a few years ago that would come into the bedroom at the same time each morning just before we got up. Somehow it’s internal clock also adjusted for daylight savings time.
I tried to figure out how it knew the time change. E.g., maybe it was triggered by the newspaper being delivered. But that is so erratic that it couldn’t be relied on. (E.g., today it was late even ignoring the time change.)
Maybe your outdoor cat hasn’t learned how to read a clock.
