I was recently was described by some in the following way:
“He’s like the cat in the striped suit from Mr. Rogers.”
Is this a compliment? Should I be offended? Any insight into what this means is appreciated.

Was your friend talking about Daniel Striped Tiger? I think Daniel Striped Tiger was a very sweet and loveable character. Rather on the meek side, though, which you might or might not find flattering.
I always thought Daniel Lion was a very sweet, naive little boy type character. Sometimes he’d ask very deep questions, though, sort of an “out of the mouths of babes” situation. Is it a compliment? Hard to tell out of context.
God, I miss Mr. Rogers.
