And the award for most f***ed up coding of the week goes to…
**Ha! Ha!
Mr. SCL and I knew each other for 11 years before we got married. You might know The One already, just not realize it. You said you aren’t looking for The One, just a girlfriend - a statement like that is really tempting karma. You’ll probably meet The One next week.
Thank you for making me feel better *MY FRIEND
Seconded.
I married Mrs. Right. I just didn’t know her first name was Always.
Well, heck, Bobbio it’s not like we expected you’d know what’s the right thing to do. Somebody had to show ya the way.
Yum. Smashed potatoes.
I’m hungry.
QD absolutely swears she’ll sign up for a guest membership next weekend. You should all make fun of her terrible, terrible grammar and spelling. And tell her to marry DH. She was agonising over her list-making last night. We were both saying, “Well, does it make you happy to think of marrying him? If it doesn’t, then don’t”.
Also, if she says no, but wants to keep on dating him, Mr. Lissar and I both said that was unfair to Driving Husband. “Oh, I like you we’ll enough to date you, but not to marry. Even though you want to marry me.” It just seems… mean, somehow. “Keep driving me around and waiting on me, but no commitment! Nope!”.
Anyway, off to eat something before bed.
Not smashed potatoes. Smashed N.O.T. There’s a difference, you know!
Oh, and here’s an early QD, marry DH already! Howzat?
Good evening everyone.
Another day of not doing much. The snow is still outside, although it’s finally warming up a very slight bit. Highs should hit low 40s by Tuesday.
I finally ( :o ) took down my Christmas tree. It was getting, rather, um…crunchy. I hadn’t watered it in ages. No worries, I didn’t ever turn the lights on. This is the latest I’ve ever taken a tree down. Usually, it’s down by New Year’s Eve, but somehow other things kept taking up my time. So, the tree is down.
We had left over pulled pork sanniches with coleslaw for chop-chop tonight. I’ll have to do some actual cooking for tomorrow’s dinner.
Well, off to quest on WoW. I’m turning into such a geek.
Dear QuasiDaughter,
Say yes already! You know you wouldn’t like your life without him. Right? See, you don’t even post here yet and we know this about you. That’s probably why you keep putting off joining up. We know too much. Also, we’re a bit too keen to hear about the wedding planning.
Yer MMP pal,
GT
Glad you’ve been relaxing, Taters. You’ve definitely earned it. My Christmas decorations are still up. Tomorrow…tomorrow, I swear I’ll take them down tomorrow!
Back from the movies. We saw Stranger Than Fiction at the dollar movies (which, confusingly, cost $1.50; sometimes they cost 2; other times .50; I’m not sure if they ever actually cost $1.00 anymore. I guess it averages out). I hadn’t seen previews or reviews or anything about it. When Local Best Friend said it had Will Ferrell in it, I wasn’t sure I would like it, but it’s generally best to humor her when it comes to movies. It was very odd, but really quite good. It also starred Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman and Queen Latifah. How’s that for an odd conglomeration of actors? I can understand why it wasn’t incredibly popular: it teetered on the edge of funny and tragic for the entire time. I’m still thinking about it, which is always a good sign.
It’s way past my bedtime and I’m very awake. Probably overcaffeinated. Maybe I’ll try to read and hope that makes me sleepy.
So glad tomorrow’s a holiday (for me, anyway…).
GT
Nope, still just the same week old MMP, made yah look though.
