I have read Burton Silver relating the story of a major American magazine flying a rather ernest reporter out to New Zealand to interveiw him. After a long straight faced interview he realized that the reporter belived the book to true. Caught in a moral dilema he eventualy admited that it was a piss take leaving a very embaressed reporter to explain this to her employers.
