When I was married to what I consider to be a very beautiful attractive red head, I did find myself gazing at women who were much less beautiful than my wife and not really my type.
I never cheated or anything like that. But I did have a difficult time wrapping my brain around how I could be lusting after women I don’t normally find attractive.
It boils down to one or two things:
!.) Before getting married, I had never been in a monogamous relationship. I had been in relationships before but the were ‘open’ so to speak. (I was young)
2.) The whole lusting after less attractive women thing didn’t happen until after our marriage went south.
