A local(Seattle) couple put a camera on their formerly stray cat named Cooper.
His exploits landed him a gig on Animal Planets new show “Cats 101” airing Saturday at 8:00pm pst.

That story is cool. I would be worried about someone stealing the camera.
What a great component for a mystery novel … the catcam sees a murder, or provides a valuable clue that is not discovered until half-way through the book, or … I don’t know, but in the hands of a good writer this would be a great plot addition.
I’ll give this 1 bump.
I thought all the cat people here might enjoy the pictures taken by a kitty during his daily jaunts.

The story mentions that Cooper’s photos are on a Flickr photoset, but I can’t find them… Here is the woman’s photostream but I cannot find the cat’s photos there!!

As a mystery writer this was the first thing I thought of when I saw the story!
Well, the 2nd thing. The first thing was, how do I get one of these for my cat? Very, very cool.
That was my first thought as well. I’d love to see where they go when they wander off.

I saw the show when it was rerun later last night. It was a cute bit, but they only gave Cooper about 30 seconds. Seemed a bit unfair, considering how terrific his photography is!
