Shave 'em. Show me the skin underneath and maybe I’ll consider believing it. I’ve seen enough matted cats in my time, and these don’t look like anything but mats to me. The pics really don’t show much.
Love the polydactyls, though. We see quite a few of them in Chicago!
I have seen one cat with the fragile skin disease. Her skin folded into flaps if you pulled oh-so-gently on it, so I can see how someone could pull flaps of skin up to look like wings and take a picture, but they’d be risking pulling the skin all the way off by doing that, too. Her poor skin was weird and thin and, well, baggy.
