Actually, caused by a skin defect. Still a pretty interesting deformity; kind of cute seeing these rotund kitties with teeny little cherub wings 
Very weird. We’ve gor some fantasy drawings by artist Robin Wood of winged cats, but the wings on them are much larger, of course.
