Sorry to spring such a relatively trivial question, but I need to find this photo, as it really touched me in a way that most photos don’t.
It was during today’s (December 30) CBS News Sunday Morning, the show with Charles Osgood hosting. During the segment on those that passed during 2012 they had a mention of all those servicemen and women who gave their lives.
Around that point in the program there was a photo that appeared for only about two seconds. It appeared to be a military funeral, and you see perhaps six people in the front row. One of them was a boy of perhaps 8 or 10, with a look of anguish. Something about that child’s expression really got to me, and I want to find the photo.
I scoured the CBS News Sunday Morning Web site and, while I found the segment and text, that photo was not there, either as a still or as part of any video that I found. I’m not discounting the possibility I overlooked it, but I was pretty thorough. I did not see a link to the entire show, so that prevents me from going to the point in the broadcast.
Any help would be appreciated.
Just to add some content to this post: I’ve become a fan of CBS News Sunday Morning. They can make even subjects in which I have no interest…interesting.
