Thought of that. Not there.
Never use amazon for Japaese obi releases. Their selection sucks and they mark them up way too high. CD Universe is much more reliable for Japanese imports. According to RYM, it’s a pretty good CD that should be replaced.
Yeah. And 10 seconds after I order the new one…BAM! :smack:
Could someone have stolen it from you, or could a housemate have borrowed it?
And because of this, I just now found Moondance! Thanks, Words!
Should we start a collection for Bosda’s new mp3 player?
No to both.
You’ll have to find Jesus. He’s a big Cowboy Bebop fan and sometimes is quite forgetful about bringing things back after he “borrows” them.
So … where’s Jesus?
Well, perhaps some nice person would buy it from you if that does happen.
You want I should try to find a replacement at the anime stores in Toronto?
the two CD set?
Sure, if possible.
Repayment by mail OK?
He’s sitting right next to Waldo.
:dubious:
My missing CD was finally found on top the computer which sits on a shelf.
I’ll see what I can do. It’ll take at least two weeks, as I’m not in town this weekend. When I find out how much it is, I’ll let you know; Amazon.com was quoting 51.99 US which seems a but high (though I have seen similar prices here.)
Did you look under the desk? I’ve had dropped CDs skate horizontally, as if on a cushion of air, into thin slots under all manner of things.
Bosda,
You set it on a fairly high shelf while you were distracted. You’ll never be able to see it just standing. Get up high and look around.
i hid it up there, because it freaked me out. I thought it was the oddest john denver album i had ever heard.
Looked under/behind furniture. NG.
No such shelf.
This thread reminds me of the found wallet thread and it’s driving me just as crazy!
But I figured it out. You didn’t really listen to it when you thought you did. Or you heard it on the radio and thought it was the CD player. Or you never had both disks, just the one. Or it’s wedged between your player and whatever’s next to it, because you set it on top of the player and it slipped over (do you have a cat?). Or you took it out of the player and had it in your hand when the phone or doorbell rang, you set it down and then set something on top of it. It slipped between the pages of a book or magazine.
Find that CD, dammit!
Yes, now it’s driving the whole SDMB crazy, instead of just Bosda.
Wrong on all counts. :smack:
