Celebrity Apprentice - All Stars [spring 2013 season thread]

I felt bad for Brandi when she was named as a person who had to go back to the board room.
God bless you and her always!!!

I had no idea who this Omarosa was, prior to this season.

But after last week’s episode featuring her dubious weeping, I just can’t wait for her to be fired. What a disgusting human being.

I think it’s at least possible that LoToya thought something like this: There is no way that Trump will fire Amarosa, period. If I bring her back, Trump will fire me and Amarosa will be able to claim a victory over me, that she beat me, head-to-head. On the other hand, if I don’t bring her back, I’ll still get fired but Amarosa won’t be able to claim a victory over me. I’d actually be doing her a favor and it might be said that she owed her continuation in the game to me (not that Amarosa would ever acknowledge that).

And the fact that Trump said that he probably would have fired Amarosa means that Amarosa DOES owe her continued existence in the game to LaToya (even if Trump was lying through his teeth, which I believe, nevertheless what he said indicates that Amarosa owes LaToya).

Backing up one episode…is anyone familiar with Universal Studio’s “Toon Lagoon”? When Penn brought up the “magic” photo booth, I instantly thought of this picture taken at Universal Studios and thought that Penn’s idea ended up being brilliant and Universal worked it in to their park.

Of course, that didn’t happen, but I wonder how old that Marmaduke feature is relative to the taping of this show.

Omarosa is horrible and makes the show feel horrible (horrible enough for me to put off watching it at LEAST 3 days…)

He fired her five years ago. All that I can say is may history repeat its self!!!
God bless you and him always!!!

P.S. Go here for something that I recently saw about her that did not surprise me one bit.

Well that’s another project manager gone. This time Omarosa wasn’t as much of a distraction. She did actually help getting some models.

I couldn’t say exactly why Marilu’s team won. Maybe having Trace up on that van drew in more crowds. Crowd size seemed like what determined who won. But with this show its hard to tell.

I just about threw something at the TV when Claudia didn’t name Omarosa to come back to the boardroom.

WTF is wrong with these women?

They spend the entire episode going on to the confessional about how they’re going to get rid of Omarosa, and Omarosa is the weakest player, then bail out when the time comes to actually put their money where there mouths were.

Chickenshits.

What?? Nobody feels the need to sing “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead”?

BTW, I actually give Omarosa credit for slipping in a couple of thousand of her own money to ensure she wasn’t the bottommost fund raiser. Clever move, but I’m glad it didn’t work for her.

OTOH, I am soooo ready for Baldwin to go. “The only reason I didn’t raise ANY money is that someone else sold one of the ‘art’ pieces”??? How stupid does this guy think the rest of us are?

I didn’t get to watch last night. But, will watch online and make a special point to see Omarosa eliminated.

I’ve gotten frustrated because this season its always the losing project manager that gets fired. That gets boring after awhile. Trump used to eliminate unproductive worker bees in the past seasons. That made it more interesting.

Her elimination was a throwaway. You know how Trump makes a big deal about the other team turning off the TV when it comes down to the actual firing? He didn’t to that this time. But I was very surprised and happy that Rodman, of all people, called her out on a lot of her prior underhandedness

There is something very “off” about him, IMO, and I’m not quite sure what it is. It’s a totally different “off” than Busey’s, but at least Busey knows it, parlays it into his persona, and can be truly amusing sometimes.

Recap of last night.

Baldwin just seems to be the kind of person who never got called on his lies and now thinks that he’s Invisible Lie Man who thinks that no one can see what he’s hiding behind his back.

I felt bad for Trace to have to move over to that team though.

So Omarosa is gone!? Sweet! That means I can start watching again next week!

Tump’s wife is pretty full of herself. She got all twisted up because one team dared put her on their poster as a spokesman? Then her ego got another prick when the other team spelled her name like the city (Milan).

Got to call b.s. on this. Isn’t that the point of an early development meeting? Let the client see an early draft? That spelling error could be fixed in seconds and then reprint the poster. The rich beautiful client doesn’t want to be the spokesman? Fine. Hire a model and take a photo.

Really, I’d say making the mistake about the product spokesman is the biggest error. That should have been discussed in the first client meeting. Now they’d have to audition models, hire someone and take photos. That’s a big setback and would set the project back perhaps weeks or months? Depending on how picky the client was about the spokesman.

A spelling error? Big deal. Open the word processor and correct it. Reprint and you’re done.

No, she wasn’t upset about being put on the poster. She was upset because Penn reduced her role to merely spokesman, when she (apparently) was the driving force behind the entire product. He should have called her something like the ‘soul’ or ‘spirit’ of the product.

Again, I got to disagree. They misspelled the name of the PRODUCT. You think an ad agency will have luck pitching a campaign for “Tode” laundry soap or “Swinson” frozen meals? The fact that it was her own name just made it bite even harder.

They picked the right winner, and Trump fired the right person this time.
I didn’t look fast enough: they showed a shot of next week’s teams. Who gets move to Power this time?

Thanks for the correction. I was having trouble hearing everything. I heard some bitching about being the spokesman and they were holding the poster.

I was baffled why the lady was so pissed about being the spokesman. I couldn’t understand what she was mumbling. Now with more info it makes more sense.

Losing Rodman is a good first step towards clearing out the weaker players. I’m hoping Gary and Baldwin go soon too. Gary is doing better than in his original season, but it’s time for him to go.

I’m still seeing Trace, Marylou, and Little John in the finals. They are the three strongest. We’ll see how it works out.

Sure, a spelling error is trivial to fix, but that’s not the point. The real problem is that it was an egregious spelling error (the name of the product), and no one on the team caught it, which demonstrates a pretty high level of either incompetence or negligence or at least sloppiness. Trump made the right decision this time.

I was very happy that Trace didn’t admit to the responsibility so much that Trump had to fire him. He’s so the opposite of Omarosa. He sees reality the way it is and can admit to his own culpability and mistakes. If Omarosa ever said the words “I was wrong” her head would explode.

MaryLou

Dang. That gives Power three good players (Marylou, Trace, LilJohn) to only 1 (Penn) in Plan B.

So much for Plan B’s winning streak.

That’d be fine and I hope Lil John wins. I wanted him to win the last time he was on. He’s the smartest one on the show.
