I don’t know why my previous post is showing empty spaces, but I was talking about the movie Space Cowboys, and I said a lot more could get eliminated in the movie.

If more of my contestants could be eliminated, I would have more points.

I have been catching Hell in another thread for mentioning the death, and calling it, “Badly drawn, badly lettered soap opera comic strip”.

It is all the Comic Curmudgeon’s fault; he reviews several comics, and I could not believe that Apartment 3-G could be as bad as he suggested.

It was.

It used to be better drawn and lettered. I followed it faithfully from the 60s through the 80s. I don’t remember why I stopped.

Actor Keith Michell has died. He was probably best known to us Americans as Henry VIII in the BBC series from the 1970’s The Six Wives of Henry VIII. I think that was the first Masterpiece Theater presentation I ever saw.

Yeah, four points isn’t much - it’s what happens with the rest of our lists, rather than that four-point margin, that will determine which of us finishes ahead of the other.

Given that you’re still leading by that same four points, with just over a month to go, it’s looking like I was way off on that prediction.

That’s a lot of work for Baker, who is already doing so much for this game besides whatever she has going on in her real life.
Rather, I’d suggest each player keep a copy of his/her list in an easily accessible place, and check it themselves every time a death is reported.

Sounds like a great idea, if it doesn’t require much effort of the Death Mistress. I could be wrong, but ISTM that manipulating a list of names and links would be much more of a PITA than just manipulating the list of names.

Besides, (a) presumably everyone’s making sure the Death Mistress is giving them proper credit for the corpses on their list, and (b) it really isn’t that hard to verify other people’s scores if one is in the mood to do such things.
