I’ve never seen that particular film, and now I probably never will, because of what you have said about the horse. Kind of like why I didn’t go to see Spielberg’s Warhose. People may be assholes and kill each other off, but I hate it when they involve animals. Kind of odd, because I eat meat.
Joseph Mascolo of Days of Our Lives really dead this time.
His character, villain Stefano DiMera, is widely believed to hold the soap opera record for returning from the dead, having died and returned at least a dozen times.
I saw that movie when I was eight years old, so I remember only bits and pieces of it, and not the ending. I ought to watch it again one of these years.
Looking it up on IMDB now, I see it was based on an Edward Abbey novel, which I hadn’t realized. So that’s another good reason to watch it, then read the book.
It is a great film until the last few minutes. Worth it alone for Kirk Douglas beating the snot out of George Kennedy.
