Celebrity Death Pool 2016

I know and I’m torn between saying
“Kopek have deep feelings for Death Mistress”
and
“Then we’re awake… but we’re very puzzled.”

Well, for what it’s worth, *I *chuckled.

George “Dr. Nick” Nichopoulos, accused contributing to the death of Elvis by over-prescribing drugs, has died aged 88.

Actor Tony Burton, trainer of Apollo Creed and the Italian Stallion in Rocky movies, dies at 78.

“Bye, everybody!”
“Bye, Dr. Nick!”

Not so crazy. Ending of WWII will be 71 years this year. Not many vets from that conflict are still around. People born in the 1940’s are beginning to die at an accelerated pace.

Bye Catamount! Can I help pave your way? - Dr. Nick.

She was Simpsonizing Dr Nick, silly man

Jackie Baumgart, former catcher with the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, gets her last at bat at age 87.

In the excluded famous-for-being-ill category, there’s Charlotte Eades dead at 81 points.

Miguel Encinias - WWII veteran who also flew in Korea and Vietnam has died at 92. Please read the whole story at: http://www.abqjournal.com/730441/opinion/miguel-encinias-a-war-hero-man-of-letters-rip.html

From the article:
Extraordinary people like Miguel Encinias contributed mightily to the legacy of the “Greatest Generation” that lived through the Great Depression and served in World War II.

And while younger generations might pooh pooh what they don’t know and never have had to experience, it’s hard to argue with the sacrifice and dedication of people who willingly stepped up in times of national crisis.

Encinias, a native of Las Vegas, N.M., died Saturday in Albuquerque. He was 92.

Encinias served as a combat pilot not only in World War II, but also in the Korean and Vietnam wars. In the second World War, he was shot down over northern Italy and was held for 15 months a prisoner of war in Germany. He was awarded three Distinguished Flying Crosses, 14 Air Medals and two Purple Hearts. He retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel.

Goodnight, Sweetheart to Lennie Baker of Sha Na Na. He doobie-doobie died at 31 points.

1951 Miss Alabama/Miss America and later civil rights activist Yolande Betbeze still refusing to wear a Catalina brand bathing suit in her pine box, leaves 13 points lying on the runway.

There are only five Miss America winners left who are older than Yolande Betbeze Fox.

“Only”? I think the word you were looking for is “still”. Are any of them supercentenarians?

No, the oldest living winner is 95.
