Celebrity Death Pool 2016

Tony Dyson, who built the “Star Wars” droid R2-D2, was found dead in his home on the Maltese island of Gozo, according to multiple media reports. He was 68.

Dyson’s body was discovered after friends alerted police that they had not seen him for several days, the Times of Malta reports. There was no immediate suspicion of foul play and Dyson likely died of natural causes, according to the paper.

In reference to post #899, Joey Feek actually has 65 picks. I didn’t change the picks of one player. Hey, what’s the difference, it’s still going to require a lot of chocolate. Standings won’t change much, of the top fifteen players already on the board, thirteen have Feek. Thirty four players will gain their first points, while thirty one will add to their totals.

For your Deathness

E! Online is reporting Joey Feek’s death.

Just in time, it seems.

I’ve seen it verified in a few other sites, too. I appear to be off the schnide.

Now, to work.

Drool*

Looks like it’s Prom Night here in Celebrity Death Pool.

Most points I’ve ever had. Well, granted, my grand total over the years is something like fifteen.

I’ve finally lost my death pool virginity to somebody I never heard about until the Death Pool. I feel so… dirty.

Tennis commentator Bud Collins has died at 86.

I feel very, very tacky sometimes. :frowning:

Where are six through twenty?
Did I miss a staff meeting?

Look how many are tied for 5th.

I didn’t realize that Baker did it that way, thanks.

Hearing unconfirmed reports that author Pat Conroy (The Prince of Tides) has died

It’s looking like it’s true. At least it’s reported by some local papers. His website said he was battling cancer. I missed that somehow.

I think it was just Last week I an article in which he said he had cancer but promised his fans he would finish one more book.

If his final words weren’t “Lowenstein…Lowenstein,” then he missed a chance to make an awesome exit from this world.

Wiki says that his Facebook page said last month that he was battling pancreatic cancer
